I have changed my review to a 3 because I am finding more remedies that do not include a "Blend". A blend is a preblended mixture from a manufacture. In another book I have - mentioned below - you are shown how to make the blends. This is because the blends are available through doTERRA, and they expect that you would get them from their. In this book it gives you the details of what is in it, but not how much of each ingredient and in what order to add them together. If I find a response to change my review again as I continue to use the book I promise to come back and update the review.

This is a very pretty book, that requires a membership on a broken website, to get the rest of the story.
I paged through this book over lunch with my mom who had just got the 3rd edition. I could not believe the cost for a full color book of this quality. Now I know why. It is like a shiny turd. It lures you in, but then stinks. Everything is summarized and then they point you to a web site that says you need a paid membership to get to the "restricted content".
That is not the bad part though. Every time I click on the create paid membership link, I just get an error. Maybe the site has just been down for 2 days.
If I get anywhere I will come back and update this review, but for now I am sticking with "The Complete Book of Essential Oils and Aromatherapy" by Valerie Ann Worwood.
It is a good doTERRA catalog, but not really a DIY book.
