Forward People of Euro and Euro-Decent!

As someone who has been supportive of the "Alt-Right", I was excited to learn one of the of the leaders of this new (or old?) movement, Richard Spencer would be putting out a bi-annual journal of Alt-Right writings. And as always, Mr. Spencer did not disappoint.
From Andy Nowicki's travel log of his journey to visit with White (yes there are many) South Afrikaans, to Alex Kurtagic's lead piece "The Great Erasure" on the survival of our people, and the classic Sam Francis essay "The Roots of the White Man" this journal has a promising future.
Look forward to the next Radix Journal to come.

How White Identity was Erased and can be Redrawn

Before homogenous white societies could be delegitimized, the image of the white man had to be erased. The forces pushing for this erasure were political, economic, ideological, and sometimes ethnic, and it is these forces which are explicated in a series of essays in The Great Erasure.
However, we are not merely left with an account of white decline. The journal culminates with an attempt by Sam Francis to construct a new pan-white identity from the white race's most distinctive and best characteristics. Before discussing this new identity, I would like to review the contributors' individual works.
From Kerry Bolton we learn about the unlikely financiers behind "socialist" black revolutions in southern Africa.
In an essay entitled "The Long Goodbye" Edmund Connelly exposes who is using Hollywood to paint an increasingly ugly picture of the white man. He also explores the effect of this image being propagated upon mass society. This was my favorite piece.
Alex Kurtagic describes how many nonwhite migrants think of the white majority and what it means for whites. While whites refuse to acknowledge their own racial identity, newcomers refuse to acknowledge them in any sense, viewing them as mere obstacles who are to be moved aside, much as whites in the USA viewed American Indians. This sort of phenomenon has happened before, always with the indigenous being replaced. In my opinion Kurtagic tends to over-formalize phenomena which are to a great extent idiosyncratic, but nevertheless he sheds a lot of light on where present trends could lead if whites fail to legitimize their own racial identity.
Andy Nowicki reports on his journey deep into the South African Savannah in search of what is perhaps the only explicitly white polity left in the world. The events of Nowicki's piece are interesting, but he dwells too much on his own introversive experience, and his prose is a bit course.
The prose is better in Derek Turner's memoir of ivy tower anti-apartheid protesters in 1980s England. Turner also tells of his experience in 1980s South Africa, where haughty Anglo elites looked down on their Boer co-racialists while maintaining a strange, fawning relationship with their paid black help, perhaps in an attempt to atone for their hierarchical status. His account is a good microcosm of white liberal elites today.
Kevin MacDonald discusses how the WASP ideal of merit above family ties has led to the diminishing of WASPs themselves as a distinct group, but he fails to address WASPs no longer exist as a conscious ethnicity let alone a biological entity, having intermarried substantially with other white groups. He also fails to note how WASPs teamed up with Jews and protestants to flood Catholic ethnic neighborhoods in America with blacks, as revealed in E Michael Jones' book, The Slaughter of the Cities. WASPs have indeed engaged in ethnic machinations, but they usually involve playing one group off against another without a conscious effort to maintain their own.
Colin Liddell reworks Samuel Huntington's Clash of Civilizations theory to factor in the issue of race. Liddell's essay is the most thoughtful out of all of them.
Elizabeth White chides white uncle Toms for championing their own demise.
Paul Deussen illustrates how Spinoza played on Christian prejudices against Judaism to weaken religion at large, and suggests we can do something similar to subvert anti-white prejudices from within. Perhaps we can play on our liberal Jewish overlords' prejudices to promote ideas that will weaken whites' racial self-hatred and blindness.
Sam Francis attempts to redraw the image of the white man. While it's difficult to determine what he means by "aryan" in his essay -- be it a particular brand of whites or whites at large -- his portrait nevertheless gives a decent idea of who the pan-white man should be. He paints the picture of a race of explorers which is always in flux, never satisfied with the status quo, and using its concept of the cosmic order to reach the stars. Francis seems to attribute some of his own realist views onto whites at large. While whites may be more realist in their capacity to develop science and a fair-minded society, they certainly have been capable of deluding themselves on the issue of race. In general, Francis does not dwell solely on the things which distinguish whites from other races, but offers a more holistic view of who the white man truly is.
I used to think those who advanced a pan-African identity were phony since Africa is inhabited by thousands of tribes. But now I realize that a pan-African identity was created to mobilize blacks as a political group. Their new identity was primarily racial, and a culture was sought to uplift their race. In the same way, whites will need to develop a pan-European concept. By discovering how the image of the white man has been deconstructed, we can figure out how to build it up again. We also have the opportunity to cut out the destructive tendencies which white societies have assimilated over the centuries and to bolster those which are true to our nature.
For anyone who wants the seed of white identity to come to life, The Great Erasure is a must read--not only to discover how we got to where we are but how we can, in the words of editor Richard Spencer, "become who we are."

A Nuanced, Thoughtful Examination of European Consciousness.

Well worth reading. Details the cultural, moral, and physical dispossession of Europeans throughout the globe. It ask the fundamental question, what is a European and approaches this through the lens of philosophy and history. Worth the price of admission for "The Origins of the White Man" and "The Spinoza Strategy" alone. The "Origins of the White" examines the biological, mythical, and historical roots of European consciousness in an attempt to understand the nature of European man, and why he is uniquely susceptible to ideas which will ultimately lead to his dispossession. "The Spinoza Strategy" deals with the art of subverting the dominant egalitarian narrative in an effective manner.
